Waterborne

Composed of acrylic or modified urethane resins, water, additives and small amounts of VOC solvents.  Can be used as single component or dual component requiring a hardener.

 

Characteristics:

  • 1K dries by evaporation of water and solvents
  • 2K dries by evaporation and chemical reaction with addition of hardener.
  • Drying characteristics are more affected by RH%
  • 1K: no pot life concerns
  • 2K: 2-24 hour pot life, depending on product.
  • Available in clear and opaque versions.
